This lab was an in-depth, collaborative 5-day training course designed to equip seasoned journalists with the skills needed to better cover Big Tech and its impact on society. In 2024, it took place in Nosara, Costa Rica, from August 12 to 16.

This is a high-level workshop tailored for up to 12 leading journalists from Latin America, to develop insights and skills necessary to navigate the rapidly evolving tech landscape. All travel, accommodation and meal costs will be covered by the initiative.
The Big Tech Investigation Lab will have an intensive, five-week program that will go through the main issues facing the coverage of Big Tech in Latin America, exploring importante topics and going deep in potential solutions.
